Officially Registered IntPE with  Engineering Council, UK

02/07/2021

It's pleasant to be acknowledged that you are on the right track. It's even more assuring if it is the UK Engineering Council that says it. I love aerospace engineering. But loving alone gets annoying to a lot of people sometimes without action to prove it. Chartered Engineers have to report to the Engineering Council annually what they have done to the world to improve it, and to themselves to grow. This is the way EC keep checks on their registered chartered engineers around the world. Once that is achieved, Chartered Engineers can choose to register as 'International Professional Engineer'. What's the gain? They can gain easier admission to national registers of a number of members jurisdictions. At the time of registration the following countries were signed up to the International Register:

Australia, Canada, Chinese Taipei, Hong Kong China, India, Ireland, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, South Africa, Sri Lanka, United Kingdom and United States.

This is significant for my career trajectory. Working alone is bliss but, assembling and working together as an international A-Team will be a whole new exciting level.
