Cover Story: More to Designing Aircraft

This is an example of how far I would go to give my students a chance to experience flight. Part of the Aerospace course in UPM was to simulate flight testing, a similar course offered just like at Cranfield University in the UK. However, unlike Cranfield University, there is no plane here for students to fly. I went the extra mile to pull an amazing feat, teaming up my local flying field, Malaysia Airport Berhad, Civil Aviation Authority Malaysia (CAAM) and Malaysian Meteorology Department to participate in the course. The story caught the heart of the national newspaper.
