RESEARCH PROJECTS AND ACTIVITIES

The global interest in hypersonic aircraft has recently picked up speed after almost 20 years of being dormant. My research interest in the fundamental study of the Flight Control Augmentation System (FCAS) for Hypersonic Aircraft (HypA) has therefore, resumed. The research involves developing the flight dynamics of the high speed aircraft and...

A small beautiful beast packed with technology capable of reaching speeds beyond 200km/h. The prototype was turned into a UAV.

The dull, dirty and dangerous mission usually associated to UAVs are sometimes long requiring the aircraft to loiter at a point for hours and hours. This research was 'experimental applied' in nature with one purpose in mind - to design, fabricate, test and produce a fully working prototype capable of flying for 24 hours.
