Avionics is the term used by aviators to represent the electronics used in aviation. Since the World War 1 and especially in World War 2, the use of electronics in aviation has only increased in both capabilities and complexity. This course is taught in the 2nd year of the aerospace engineering course after students have had a brief introduction to aircraft and electronics.
